About Psychology Explained
Psychology Explained is an independent explainer site. Each article takes one well-studied topic, such as memory, attention, child language, conformity or helping in emergencies, and summarizes what the research supports, where the evidence is weaker, and which claims were later revised or dropped. The aim is accuracy over novelty, so the articles name studies, note replication problems and avoid invented statistics.
Corrections are welcome. If you spot a wrong date, a misattributed study or a claim that goes beyond the evidence, please say so. Verified corrections are applied to the article itself.
